"Quick, tulips or roses? Quick, tulips or daffodils? Quick, tulips or pansies?" Brian would randomly fire this question at me as we strolled through the gardens at Thanksgiving Point, trying to gauge where tulips fit in my favorite flower category.
My answer? "TULIPS!" The fact we were at a Tulip Festival may have biased my choice (only subliminally, of course).
There was so much to see, that I really had a hard time editing my hundreds of pictures down to "just a few". So, even though you didn't know it when you woke up today, you are about to take a tour...

The Carousel in Parterre Garden
Fragrance Garden
Koi Pond, Monet Bridge, and Italian Garden
I saved my favorite spot on the tour for last. You will enter a dark, shady tunnel, with doors inviting you to step inside...
As you pass through the doors...
...you will find yourself in a quiet, restful garden.
The Secret Garden
As much as I hope you enjoyed your virtual tour, there is nothing like seeing it in person. If you get a chance to visit, bring a lunch, have a picnic, and take time to enjoy the day. It will be worth it!
