Perfect Equation

I'm not much of a mathematician, but I believe this equation is foolproof. 

My Family + Food = Fun

We got together this past Saturday for some reason or other.  The parents hung out in the kitchen, a few hung out in the living room playing cards, and some just hung out.

Though the day was cold and windy, a request was made for a walk.  Who would ask us to leave our warm and comfortable positions on the couch?

Awww, just look at those faces.  Only the heartless could resist them.  So, on went the coats, gloves, and hats, and off went we.  Our walk took us to an old, abandoned, pioneer home.  Which we couldn't just leave, without a bit of exploration.

Careful! There are rusty nails in those boards.

Time to head home and get that most important part of the equation- food!  Ha, just kidding mom.  Family is the most important part.
