There was a memorial held this past Sunday for the old Paradise church. It will be torn down in the next week or two, making room for a more cost efficient building. Did you know that other than the house I grew up in, I have spent more time in this building than any other? It certainly felt like a funeral- memories were shared, songs were song, and many, many tears were shed.
If you waited patiently, you got a chance to ring the bell. For anyone trying to take a peaceful, late afternoon nap, their effort was in vain. I don't think the bell stopped ringing for at least an hour or more.
